Anticipation

As I sit at my desk on this beautiful Friday, it is hard to believe I will be meeting my new friends on Tuesday.  Just as the children feel anxious, I await the new school year with a mixture of excitement and trepidation.  This year I am switching to a new, although not completely unfamiliar, grade.  Having completed several long term substitute assignments in grade three, I feel familiar with the curriculum, as well as the unique attributes of third grade children.  I am looking forward to their enthusiasm for learning, and friendly personalities.  I hope you will follow along with me on this journey by reading our blog regularly.
