The students spent some free time Friday deconstructing some of the structures they have built with Legos so that they can build new things. Here are some of the creations:

Math centers and Legos ~ what a combination!
We spent some time last week doing math centers. One of the centers involved solving real world problems, and presenting the information to the class. Each group did a nice job showing the various ways to solve the same problem. The children also did a nice job listening to each other and learning new strategies. Here are a couple of the presentations:
